This 150mm x 47mm joist to masonry hanger is for building into the inner leaf of new external cavity walls and internal walls

Applications & Design Features

• For supporting timber joists and structural composite timber from masonry walls.


• Straddle to comply with fire regulations in party wall applications.


• Robotically welded to avoid construction defects and galvanised after manufacturer to BS6178, eliminating edge corrosion.

Installation Requirements

• 600mm of cured brick/block work above hanger before loading.


• All hangers for timbers 150mm deep and above are made 10mm undersized for notching, which provides a flush ceiling line.

Material Specification

• 2.5mm mild steel BS1449.


• Hot dipped galvanised to BS729:1971.
