Description

An exterior pigmented wood preservative for rough sawn and smooth garden timbers, such as cladding, fencing, sheds, greenhouses and summerhouses. It contains active ingredients that penetrate into the timber to prevent rot, decay and blue stain. It is a water-based product that can be used near plants.

System information

Cuprinol Trade Exterior Wood Preserver(BP) can be used on all types of bare wood, wood that has been previously pressure treated or wood that has been previously treated with a wood preservative (provided it has been allowed to weather). Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from any surface coating, mould or algae before use. Use pre-treated timber for in ground contact situations.

Shake or stir thoroughly before use and frequently during use to ensure even colour.

After suitable preparation apply 2-3 coats of Cuprinol Trade Exterior Wood Preserver(BP). For best coverage three coats are recommended. Apply subsequent coats as soon as the previous has soaked in.

Please note that Colour in the can may look different to when dry. If colour is important try a small inconspicuous area first.
